DAY 01 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – BARCELONA
Meeting at 05:00 AM in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport International Terminal, followed by departure to Barcelona on Turkish Airlines flight TK1853 at 8:00 AM. Upon arrival in Barcelona at local time 10:45, transfer to the port where our ship Costa Smeralda will depart. After check-in and passport procedures, proceed to cabins and enjoy free time. Our ship will depart from the port at 6:00 PM. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 02 IBIZA
Our ship will dock at Ibiza port at 12:30 AM. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may take a dip in Ibiza's magnificent beaches, go shopping, or have a meal after getting information from our guide. The ship will depart from the port at 8:00 PM. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 03 AT SEA
This day will be spent sailing at sea, during which our ship offers many alternatives. Those who wish can enjoy the open and indoor pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas of the ship. Others can shop in duty-free stores, try their luck in the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment offered in dozens of bars. A variety of dining options await you throughout the day. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 04 PALERMO
Our ship will dock at Palermo port at 8:00 AM. After breakfast, free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish may join the "Palermo & Cefalu Tour" organized additionally by our guide. After arriving in Palermo, the capital of Sicily, we head to Cefalu, one of the most beautiful holiday resorts of Palermo and Sicily. With its medieval structures, this town is a place perfect for both shopping and fully experiencing the spirit of Sicily. Among the places we will visit during the tour are the Norman-era cathedral and the ancient laundry. After free time, we return to Palermo and take a tour introducing the city. Then we visit Monreale Cathedral. We see the mosaic decorations depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments, covering a total area of 6340 m². Afterwards, we return to the ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 4:30 PM. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 05 CIVITAVECCHIA / ROME
Our ship will dock at Civitavecchia port at 8:30 AM. After breakfast, free time for personal activities. Guests who wish may join the "Rome City Tour" organized additionally by our guide. During this full-day tour, after a 1 hour 15 minute journey by bus waiting for us at Civitavecchia Port, we arrive in Rome and take a panoramic tour by bus. Places to see include Castel Sant'Angelo, Tiber River, Borghese Park, Via Veneto, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza della Repubblica, Via Nazionale, Theatre of Marcellus, Circo Massimo, and Forum areas. Afterwards, we explore Rome's famous squares on foot. Among the places to see are Pantheon Square, Navona Square, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps, ending our tour with a shopping break. At the end of the tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 7:00 PM. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 06 SAVONA – GENOA – PORTOFINO
Our ship will dock at Savona port at 8:30 AM. After breakfast, free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish may join the "Genoa - Portofino Tour" organized additionally by our guides. Departing from our port Savona by bus, we arrive at the neighboring port city Genoa, which was once the capital of an important maritime kingdom that ruled over the Mediterranean region, including Istanbul. Important points we will see include San Lorenzo Cathedral, the Doge's Palace, and Christopher Columbus's House. In the second part, we head to Portofino, a town featured in songs and loved by lovers, located 1 hour away from Genoa. After free time in this peaceful coastal town, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 6:00 PM. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 07 MARSEILLE (AIX-EN-PROVENCE)
Our ship will dock at Marseille port at 8:30 AM. After breakfast, free time for shopping and personal activities. Guests who wish may depart for the "Marseille City Tour & Aix-en-Provence Tour" organized additionally by our guides. Starting our tour in Marseille, an important maritime city, we first visit the "Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral" located on a high hill. Following this visit, some of the places to see include Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles Train Station, the Old Town, Hotel de Ville, and the marina area. Then we head to Aix-en-Provence, located 40 minutes from Marseille. We begin with the famous St. Saviour's Cathedral dating back to the 12th century, featuring a Romanesque front facade and a covered arched walkway. Later, during a pleasant walk in the old district of the city, you will see the antique inns located here and the Mazarin quarter designed in the 17th century by Cardinal Mazarin's brother. Our ship will depart from the port at 6:30 PM. Dinner and overnight on board.
DAY 08 BARCELONA – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at Barcelona port at 8:00 AM. After breakfast, we complete disembarkation procedures and transfer to the airport via our private vehicle waiting for us at the port. After passport and baggage procedures, we depart for Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1856 at 13:35. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at local time 19:15. End of our tour.
