2. Day | Vathy Exploration – Taverna Night
After breakfast at our hotel, we meet at the point indicated by our guide at 16:00 PM and begin exploring Vathy under the guidance of our guide. During our approximately one-and-a-half-hour walking tour, we start discovering Vathy. Throughout this enjoyable walk lasting about an hour and a half, we learn from our guide about the island's rich history, daily life culture, local lifestyle, charming cafes, delicious restaurants, and entertainment spots. As we move through narrow streets, we witness up close both the past and the current spirit of Samos.
During our walk, we see the island's only Catholic Church, which is currently abandoned. This structure, notable for its silence and mystical atmosphere, becomes one of our special stops shedding light on the island's multicultural past.
Then we reach Lion Square, considered the heart of the city and Samos' oldest and still actively used town square. Here we see the lion statue, the symbol of the square, and explore the historical texture around it. The Town Hall and Archaeological Museum located around the square are included in our tour as structures carrying important traces of the island's history.
In the final part of our tour, we complete our journey at the monument of Themistoklis Sofoulis, known as the first President of Samos, a significant figure in modern Greek history. At this meaningful spot, we take souvenir photos and imprint Vathy's atmosphere intertwined with history and culture in our memories.
In your remaining free time, you can sit at cafes with Vathy views, take a walk along the coast, or enjoy the sea.
In the evening, one of the events that best reflects the soul of the island awaits you. In our extra-organized Taverna Night program, we enjoy ourselves in a pleasant atmosphere accompanied by live Greek music. Unlimited ouzo and wine are included in the menu served during the night. Guests wishing to continue the night's entertainment at different venues can get recommendations from our guide.

3. Day | Big Island Tour
After breakfast at our hotel, we meet at the port at 09:30 AM and set off to explore the island. During our tour, we first view the Vathy area panoramically to gain general information about the island's layout.
Then we turn our route towards Kokari, one of the most photogenic points of the island. After our guide shows us the area panoramically and provides information, free time is offered here. Guests wishing can enjoy the turquoise sea, take a walk along the beach, or take wonderful photos against postcard-like landscapes.
Our next stop is Pythagorion, known as the birthplace of the famous mathematician Pythagoras. In this enchanting area with its historical texture and seaside atmosphere, we conduct our tour with our guide; we learn about Samos Castle, the Transfiguration Church, and the famous Blue Street. After a short walk in the port area, we take a photo break in front of the Pythagoras Monument.
Then, by the seaside, free time is offered for a pleasant meal break at the region's most popular restaurants. You have the opportunity to try fresh seafood and the flavors of Greek cuisine.
On the return journey, we take a short shopping break at Lidl, one of Europe's largest supermarket chains. Here you can find affordable products and local flavors.
